The victory begins with Jesus.
Christianity is not about becoming strong enough to rescue ourselves. It is about a Savior who came to rescue us.
We are separated from God by sin, but God did not leave us without hope. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came for us. He lived without sin, gave His life on the cross for our sins, and rose again.
Forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life are gifts of grace received through faith in Jesus. Our past does not save us or condemn those who belong to Him—Christ becomes our hope, our identity, and our life.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

The testimony shared here is not meant to make much of suffering or of the person who survived it. It is meant to make much of Jesus—the Savior who forgives sin, meets us in suffering, and faithfully transforms lives.
Now the prayer behind this ministry is simple: that someone else will see the faithfulness of God and believe that He can redeem their story too.
